Food anxiety to food medicine: why not change our perspective and approach towards food?
Today, the abundance of information on food can be confusing. Depending on the analysis that is written, the vitamin contribution, the acidity, the level of calories, or whatever, the information can be contradictory. And we no longer know what is good or what to consume. The approach to food becomes defiant and restrictive. Often, as intolerances and allergies multiply, people seek to know what to avoid eating. Let us first understand the role of food.
Eat to live or live to eat!
Have we ever thought deeply about why we eat? We eat to fuel our body. The food we ingest is the source of our energy. Literally meaning that our body is powered by our food. Only then our body accepts food we eat, to make most of energy. According to Ayurveda, our food contains prana, i.e. vital energy. It is even our first medicine.

If food is all the source of energy, give it a thought! what is the first thing we should use to heal our self? Ayurveda says, when diet is wrong medicine is of no use. When diet is correct medicine is of no need!
Food medicine- Why not our kitchen becomes the food-pharmacy? Best example are curcuma drink, ghee, cereals and grains, soups and tisanes and so on!
